We are looking for an international-minded kindergarten teacher/PYP Early Years Coordinator who leads our Early Years team and promotes the German language programme
Tätigkeitsprofil
To work as kindergarten teacher
To be the leader and head of the Early Years team
To work with the section Coordinators, developing a whole school approach to implementation of the educational programme
Holding weekly meetings for the team to plan and collaborate on the educational programme
Ensure that all staff members have an understanding of the EY programme
Ensure that the educational programme is being implemented in accordance with the whole school approach
Ensure that all unit planners, scope and sequence and curriculum maps are up to date and in use
Publishing articles pertaining to the programme in the school blog
Overseeing and leading the implementation and development of the Early Years programme of inquiry
Ensuring implementation of the (school curriculum) scope and sequence documents through the units of inquiry
Collaborating with the other school section leaders to create a balanced and vertically aligned programme
Ensure accurate assessment and record keeping is used to support curriculum delivery and effective teaching and learning
Coordinating the budget for Early Years school
Assisting the Head of Primary in identifying resources needed for the Early Years programme of inquiry

Qualification as Erzieher (m/f/d)
Experience in Kindergarten management
Work experience abroad or in an international environment
Experience with IBO PYP Early Years Programme (preferable)
Fluent in English since the media of instruction at DSKI is English
German mother tongue level
