A rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Educational Psychologist / Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist to work in an international school with pupils from Kindergarten to Secondary School (age 3 to 19 years of age). You will work closely with the educational team and the 'Beratungsquadrat' Advice and Support Team to assess, design, and deliver individual and small group interventions to promote pupils’ emotional wellbeing and academic engagement.
· Work on 1:1 basis with children and adolescents, who present with emotional wellbeing concerns linked with mental health difficulties
· Conduct psychological assessments including the use of psychological psychometrics
· Provide consultation and advice to parents and teachers
· Create preventive support materials for staff and parents
· Work within a multidisciplinary team
· Make referrals to Single Point of Access (SPA)
· Attend Child Protection/Child in Need meetings
· Attend regular Safeguarding and other relevant training
· Provide complete records of assessments and interventions

· Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP) or the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
· At least 5 years’ experience as an Educational Psychologist or Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist working with children and adolescents (age 3 to 19 years of age) and their parents
. Very good communication skills in oral and written German /English
· Relevant experience in conducting psychological assessments and interventions to meet children and young peoples’ needs
· Experience working with parents and teachers in different schools
· Ability to work independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team
· A capacity for study and continued learning
· Emotional resilience and maturity
· German speaker, ideally to mother tongue standard
